Sources say that Steve Jobs created the iPhone because he was tired of a loudmouth executive at Microsoft who continually bombarded him with braggadocio about Microsoft and what they were planning to do. Buoyed by resentment and an almost pathological hatred of styluses, Jobs and his team got to work on creating the prototype of a working multi-touch display. Said display, eventually, would go on to serve as a touch point for future iPhone designs.Steve was intentionally going to build a tablet but decided to shrink it down into something pocket size.And that's how the very first iPhone was created.
